Who are the Oppressed (Palestinians or the Jews?)

The Palestinians are fighting Israel on multiple fronts, one of them is with rockets and guns and another is with propaganda.  The propaganda war portrays Israel as the brutal occupier and oppressor and the Palestinians as the occupied and oppressed.  Never mind that the Biblical state of Israel predates the Muslim invasion in 630 AD and Muslim occupation of Israel by thousands of years.  Israel is portrayed as killers of innocent oppressed Palestinian civilians.  Never mind that on October 7, it was Muslim terrorists from Gaza that invaded southern Israel and killed over a thousand people and took hundreds of people hostages including children.  Those children they keep locked up in cages in dark tunnels hundreds of feet underground.  They beat children and burned marks into the children's skin so that if the children escaped, they could identify them by the burn marks.  They didn't give the children enough food.  Two sisters, 15 and 8 years old were hostages. “The older one decided how much to eat so she could save food for her younger sister. Sometimes she would not eat for days.”

He was kidnapped with his mother Shiri and his four-year-old brother Ariel and hasn't been heard of since as of December 7, 2023.  Hamas claims that an Israel bomb killed them but since Hamas lies a lot we don't know if that's true.

Black Lives Matter defended Hamas by releasing a statement that said that because the Palestinians "have been subject to decades of apartheid and unimaginable violence, their resistance must not be condemned, but understood as a desperate act of self-defense."  Apartheid?  Self Defense?  Unimaginable violence?  BLM has become a vehicle for Palestinian propaganda.  The unimaginable violence is what Hamas did to Israelis on October 7, 2023.  They decapitated babies, they burned people alive, they murdered entire families, they kidnapped children, they shot rockets into Israeli cities, locked hostages in underground cages etc.. 

Apartheid?  There was Muslim apartheid against Jews in Gaza.  No Jews lived in Gaza since 2005.  Israel forcibly pulled them out because of the violence of Arabs towards those Jews when they did live in Gaza.  Despite this, communities in southern Israel hired Muslims from Gaza to work in their communities.  Those Muslims spied for Hamas gathering intelligence for the October 7 massacre of Israelis.

Even if Israel hadn’t allowed Gazan’s into their southern communities that would not be apartheid. It's up to every country to decide who they want to allow across their border.  Egypt doesn't allow Gazan's to cross out of Gaza into Egypt.  No one accuses Egypt of apartheid.  Egypt doesn't want Hamas terrorists crossing into Egypt any more than Israel wants them entering Israel and Egypt is Muslim.  Egypt knows how dangerous Hamas is.  In October 2014 there was a terrorist attack against Egypt which killed 30 Egyptian soldiers.  The weapons for that attack were provided by Hamas through one of its smuggling tunnels.  Egypt started flooding Gaza tunnels at its border with Gaza on December 1, 2023. 

Palestinian propagandists accuse Israel of committing genocide against the Palestinians.  Genocide means acting with the intent to kill an entire people.  If that is Israel's intent, it is doing a very bad job as the population of the Palestinians has been growing.  Here is a graph of the Palestinian population according to the World Bank.

 

Ghazi Muhammad a senior Hamas official said "We will repeat the October 7 attack time and again until Israel is annihilated."  When he said that he admitted that Hamas had committed and intended to commit genocide.  So like all the other accusations the Palestinians make toward Israel, the accusations apply to the Palestinians not to Israel.

People who accuse Israel of committing genocide point to pictures of bombed out buildings in Gaza and pictures of children hurt by Israeli bombs.  There are several points to make here.  Before October 7 2023, before Hamas terrorists shot rockets into Israel and invaded Gaza and committed genocide against entire communities the Israelis weren't dropping bombs.  Israelis had no interesting in bombing Gaza, it wanted peace with Gaza. 

Imagine you were a pilot in the Israeli air force and you were given the choice of

1) Flying an airplane over Gaza and dropping a bomb over Hamas which would also kill civilians. Hamas can't shoot your plane down so you know you'll get back to Israel unharmed. Bombs may not work on the very deep tunnels of Hamas some over 200 feet deep, but it will make it harder for Hamas to fight you if you do march in to Gaza. Dropping bombs will cost Israel in the arena of public opinion and will endanger the supply of arms from America for future missions. This is what Hamas wants to happen.

2) Marching into Gaza with a gun and hunting down Hamas terrorists and shooting them. This way you are less likely to kill civilians than if you dropped a bomb. In this case your chances of getting out alive are not good. The Hamas invasion of Israel was a trap. Hamas invaded Israel expecting you to come in. They have set up tunnel exits all over and booby traps. They are waiting to pop out of nowhere when you least expect it and shoot you as you wander around Gaza looking for them.

3) Do nothing and hope Hamas will stop attacking you. The problem with that is they won't. They even said so. You might be able to get a temporary cease fire while they accumulate more weapons but that's it. In the long run more civilians will be killed if you do nothing and they will be your civilians.

Lets keep imagining that you have to make a choice between 1,2 or 3.  Keep in mind that most of the civilians in Gaza hate you and are not innocent civilians.  "The second wave of Arabs who came into the country were just as cruel as the terrorists of the first wave," according to Gadi Yarkoni, the mayor of the Eshkol Regional Council, which encompasses most of the Gaza border communities. "We saw that it was not only Hamas who came to slaughter us. It was all the residents of Gaza, including people who worked in our kibbutzim."  The mob soon arrived in nearby Israeli communities that Hamas was already terrorizing. Security footage and Hamas videos from Be'eri, Nir Oz, and other kibbutzim capture dozens of ordinary-looking Gazans looting and taking part in killings and kidnappings, including of women and children. Palestinians in Judea and Samaria celebrated the brutal terrorist attacks.  Many Palestinian civilians would kill you the first chance they got.  Are you willing to endanger your life by marching in to Gaza to save their lives or would you bomb them instead?

 OK what is your choice, 1,2, or 3.  If you choose 1 the world will accuse you of war crimes.  You might kill civilians.

Israel made the decision to do choices 1 and 2.  In order to reduce civilian casualties Israel warns Palestinians to leave civilian areas that they plan to bomb.

Israel does not have a choice that will keep civilians from being killed. It can only try and minimize how many civilians are killed. Prime Minister Netanyahu warned the Palestinians in the north of Gaza to move to the south to be safe. When Palestinians tried to listen to Netanyahu, Hamas shot them.

Israel has opened humanitarian corridors on which Palestinians can move southward safely. 

On December 12, 2023, 9 Israeli soldiers were killed in an ambush in northern Gaza.  Retired IDF General Israel Ziv told CNN the incident took place in a dense part of the Shejaiya neighborhood, which he said was “known for being exploited by Hamas terrorists to deploy many rocket launchers and to hide entrance pits to underground tunnels, guarded by booby traps.” “Fighting and clearing [the] terror presence from this area is extremely risky and requires high level of bravery and determination,” Ziv said, explaining that the incident was particularly deadly because after the first infantry team encountered Hamas fighters and booby traps, other teams rushed in to respond and they were shot.

CNN interviewed Miri Eisin a former member of Israeli intelligence after 9 Israeli soldiers were ambushed and killed in Gaza.  She told CNN

“Right now, for the Israeli public, the (threat from) Hamas’ military capabilities is such that we’re willing to go to a relatively high number (of casualties) to destroy it,” security expert and retired IDF Colonel Miri Eisin told CNN. Eisin’s husband and three children are all currently serving in the IDF. “This doesn’t mean I want to sacrifice my children,” she said. “No, it means that I don’t know how I can live here unless we destroy Hamas.”

“The (IDF) casualties yesterday did not have to happen if we had used an airplane,” Eisin asserted.

Hamas claims that Israel killed thousands of Palestinian children and many in the media repeat that as if it's true.  The media trusts a terrorist organization to tell the truth.  Often when images of injured children are posted by the Palestinians and blamed on Israel, investigations find that the children were killed by Muslims fighting other Muslims.  One example of this was a picture posted by Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of many dead children, each wrapped in white, lying on the floor, and captioned "CHILD GENOCIDE IN PALESTINE" and "614 Palestinian children murdered by the Israeli IDF Forces." Except they weren’t. The image was indeed of children who had been killed, but not by the Israel Defense Forces. They were killed in a 2013 sarin nerve gas attack perpetrated by Bashar al-Assad, the Muslim dictator of Syria. Another example of the media trusting Hamas was news reports that Israel had bombed the Al Ahli hospital in Gaza.  It turns out that the parking lot was bombed and not the hospital and it also turns out that it wasn't Israel who did it.  It was Islamic Jihad whose rocket that they shot at Israel blew up in the parking lot.

One newspaper when it reported on the rocket accident blamed Israel and showed a totally devasted building under their headline.  How could they show the blown up hospital if it was never blown up.  Joe Concha explained this at the Restoration Weekend of the David Horowitz Freedom Center and I've included a video of him explaining this below.

Al Ahli hospital is not the only building misfired Jihadi rockets have hit.  In addition many of the buildings that have been flattened in Gaza were flattened as a result of Hamas booby traps for Israeli soldiers.

Hamas turns its children into monsters with hate propaganda against Israel.  Many of the civilians that Israel tries to avoid hurting are monsters and participated in Hamas attacks on Israel.
