Glen Beck ends the above video by stating that Muslims still sell slaves on the open market. This is happening in Libya where slaves are sold in auctions. Passports of migrants who come to countries like Saudi Arabia ,Kuwait, and the UAE for work, are confiscated and the migrants are trapped in forced labor (slavery). Investigations by the BBC exposed unregulated online black markets where employers used mainstream mobile apps and social media platforms to illegally sell domestic sponsorships of workers for a profit.

The construction of the Burj Khalifa and Dubai's rapid modernization are deeply connected to systemic labor exploitation under the Kafala system, which human rights organizations frequently characterize as a form of "modern slavery". Ibhais, a Jordanian journalist who blew the whistle on slavery and human trafficking in Qatar was sentenced to five years in a Doha prison and was released after serving three years, in March of 2025. Then he was “abducted from a mosque” by the Jordanian General Intelligence Directorate (GID) in the capital city of Amman. This happens to be just two weeks before he was supposed to testify as a witness in a US District Court case concerning allegations of forced labour and human trafficking associated with the 2022 World Cup.

The following video is still online and is very good. It shows how every culture black, white, Islamic etc. had slaves. Its narrator asks the question of "Why if every culture had slaves, are we only taught about black enslavement by white people?"
There are Muslim propagandists who tell us that America was built on the backs of black Muslim slaves. The truth is that Muslims in Africa often captured non-Muslim Africans and sold them to the Atlantic slave traders; as a rule, they didn’t capture or sell their fellow Muslims, as that would have been against the Qur’an’s injunction to be “ruthless to unbelievers, merciful to one another” (48:29). A few Muslims, however, were caught and sold to slave traders who brought them to the United States, likely for fighting against the Muslims who sold them into slavery, or simply by mistake. But there was no more than a handful of known Muslims among the slaves in the early United States. Also, to attribute the nation’s economic foundations to slave labor ignores the fact that half the country outlawed slavery from the beginning, and there was only a small percentage of people owning slaves in the areas where slavery was legal.
