Oren Zvada said in the above video that Hamas knew that Israel would retaliate. They knew that their actions would hurt the Palestinians. So why did they do it? Golda Meir gave the answer a long time ago. She was the Prime Minister of Israel from 1969 to 1974. She once said in regard to the Arabs "We will only have peace with [them] when they love their children more than they hate us." The Arabs hate the Jews because their religion teaches them to do so.
