In the video below Megyn Kelly uses several words that I will define below.
1) "social contagion": Contagion means the spread of disease from one person to the next. Social contagion is the spread of false and harmful beliefs from one person to another.
2) malleable: That means easily shaped or pliable.
3) panacea: Cure for everything. In the old days salesmen would sometimes sell liquids to gullible people that they claimed were medicines that would cure all their illnesses. They were claiming those medicines were panaceas.
4) Gateway drug: A drug that people take that leads them to take more powerful and more dangerous drugs.
.5) Complicit: involved with others in doing bad things.
Why is it important to distinguish women from men who take female hormones? One reason is that if men who take female hormones are considered women they automatically can share women's locker rooms, compete in women's sports and win away their scholarships, and so on. You can't protect women if you recognize biological men who take female hormones as women. How can you argue that such and such women can't share women's locker rooms, or compete against women, if you say they are women?
Megyn mentioned Kelly Jay Keen a woman who spoke up for the right of people to say the word "woman" instead of having to say "birthing person" or "menstruator" and so on. Kelly wants women to be able to have private spaces that are not invaded by biological males. A video of Kelly talking about this and how she was attacked violently for standing up for women is embedded below.
Kelly has been attacked in New Zealand and Australia which is strange. It's strange that the trans madness has infected countries all over the world. Trans people portray themselves as victims of anyone who says they are not the sex they attempt to transition to but we can see from the above videos that many of them are not victims, instead they are victimizers. Simon B. Amaya Price is another example of that. He formerly identified as transgender faced threats, harassment, and cyberbullying for attempting to host an event on his college campus intended to raise awareness about the dangers of gender transition procedures for minors. He got a lot of abuse when he was just trying to protect others.
What about the nice people who have decided they are trapped in the body of the wrong sex? There are a lot of them nowadays. Shouldn't we respect them and treat them with compassion and use their preferred pronouns if they want us to? If they are misguided then we are not doing them a favor by affirming a harmful delusion, a delusion that can lead them to undergoing surgery and becoming unable to have children and to having medical problems for the rest of their lives?
