16.45 Why to So Many Muslims Hate the United States?
Mark Tapson wrote an article in frontpage magazine about antisemitism among American conservatives. He focussed on debunking the anti-Israel propaganda of Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens. He wrote:
“Owens’ army believes, as all antisemites do, that jihadists only attack American interests because we support Israel and because Jewish influence runs Washington, D.C.; if that ended, they claim, Muslims would no longer have any incentive to attack us.
Muslim hatred of America existed long before the modern state of Israel came into existence in 1948. In 1786, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams met with Tripoli’s ambassador to Great Britain to ask by what right his nation attacked American ships and enslaved American citizens, and why Muslims held so much hostility toward America, a nation with which they had no previous contacts. The two future presidents reported that Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja had answered that Islam “was founded on the Laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Quran that all nations who would not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as Prisoners, and that every Musselman (Muslim) who should be slain in Battle was sure to go to Paradise.”
Muslim hated America because America was an infidel nation. Before America became a nation Muslims made war on other infidels. The Ottoman empire lay siege of Vienna in 1683 a siege that had nothing to do with Israel or America. America did not exist then. Israel did not declare independence till 1948. It was Muslim hatred of infidels as well as greed for infidel loot that led Muslims to make war in the past and lead them to make war today.
