9.75 Shouldn't Israel Let in the Palestinian Refugees for Peace?

In 1948 during the Israeli war for independence Arabs in Israel fled.  They were told by the surrounding Arab countries to get out so that they wouldn't be massacred along with the Jews.  Many Arabs left Israel, the Arab armies were defeated and kept the Palestinian Arabs in refugee camps. 

Should Israel allow the Arabs who fled, back into Israel?  Would that end Palestinian Arab violence against Israel?

One way we can answer that question is to look at what happened when other countries took in the Palestinian Arabs.  Jordan a country that was cut out of the Jewish National Home by the British, took in hundreds of thousands of Palestinian Arabs.  Those Palestinian Arabs tried to take over Jordan and started a civil war known as Black September.  Jordan defeated them.  Lebanon allowed the Palestinian Arabs in from Jordan who showed their gratitude by starting a civil war in Lebanon.

Brigitte Gabriel grew up in Lebanon during that time and tells the story of what happened below.  After the Ottomans that occupied Lebanon and Syria were defeated in World War 1 the League of Nations assigned France a mandate over Lebanon and Syria.  A mandate meant that the French would take care of the country until the inhabitants were considered eligible for self-government. Brigitte Gabriel says in the video that Beirut Lebanon used to be the Paris of the Middle East.  Paris was once a happy beautiful city.  When Brigitte says Beirut was the Paris of the Middle East she means Paris as it was a long time ago.  France allowed in many Muslim immigrants since then which led to terrible antisemitic atrocities and terrible terrorist attacks in France.  Paris is no longer what it once was.

If the Arabs hadn't tried to destroy Israel there would not have been any Palestinian Arab refugees.  At the same time as they tried to destroy Israel they expelled Jews from their countries who fled to Israel.  You don't hear of Jewish refugees because Israel gave them homes. 

Brigitte said that Jews are a race but there are Jews of all races.  There are black Jews, white Jews and Chinese Jews.  Judaism is a religion not a race.
