10.29 The Persecution of Tulsi Gabbard
Tulsi Gabbard was born on April 12, 1981, on an island in American Samoa and grew up in Hawaii. At the age of 21 she was elected to the Hawaii house of Representatives. 2 years after the September 2001 attacks on the United States, Tulsi Gabbard enlisted in the National Guard and was sent to serve in Iraq in a medical company. On January 22, 2013, Gabbard was unanimously elected to a four-year term as a vice chair of the Democratic National Committee. She ran for president of the United States.

On October 11, 2022, Gabbard announced on Twitter that she was leaving the Democratic Party, accusing its leadership of "cowardly wokeness, anti-white racism, (being) hostile to people of faith and spirituality, and dragging us closer to nuclear war". She wrote a book called For Love of Country, leave the Democratic Party Behind.
