16.14 The October 7 Islamic Invasion of Israel
On October 7, 2023 Hamas terrorists from Gaza invaded Israel and killed entire communities of people until the IDF stopped them. When they retreated they left behind mines and booby traps and took hundreds of hostages with them. At the same time they kept shooting rockets into Israeli towns from Gaza. The took hostages of all ages. Here is a picture of the youngest hostage, Kfir Bibas, who they took captive.
Here is a video about one of their booby traps. Arab terrorists have been setting booby traps like the explosive backpack below long before Gaza, when I was a child my parents took me to Israel and I remember warnings to stay away from any toy or package in a park that was unattended.
One hostage told how her father and sister were killed in front of her before she and her mother were abducted to the underground terror tunnels of Hamas. She was later released as part of a swap for terrorists. She wrote a heart wrenching article called The Girls I Met in the Tunnels about the women and girls who are still hostages.
Hamas has said that they will repeat the massacres of October 7, until Israel is annihilated. Israel has to eliminate Hamas. They can't allow any more massacres of their families to happen. Israelis should not have to live in fear of being massacred. Israel's soldiers have to make their home of Israel a safe place to live. There is a big problem in the way and that is that Hamas terrorists hide themselves and their weapons among civilians. They hide in schools. homes, hospitals, mosques and in a vast underground network of tunnels that extend for hundreds of miles beneath schools, homes, hospitals and mosques. You can see a tunnel under the Al Shifa hospital in Gaza in the video below.
Doctors and nurses who work in Al Shifa hospital have been told to stay away from certain parts of the hospital or they'll be in danger of being shot. A British doctor got lost one day in the basement and was confronted by 2 men in uniform who told him to get out. Members of the Palestinian Fatah terrorist organization are afraid of the Hamas terrorist organization and even when wounded avoid the Al Shifa hospital.
Israeli leaders are faced with three choices which are:
1) Do they bomb Hamas which will result in civilian casualties but will also save the lives of Israeli soldiers? Do they bomb the tunnels in which Hamas hides which requires very big bombs since they are several stories underground?
2) Do they send in their soldiers to fight Hamas in the streets of Gaza which will result in less civilians dying but will result in more of their soldiers dying? It's important to protect civilians but we need to remember that soldiers are people too, they are fathers and brothers and sons, their lives are important too. Also many of the civilians living in Gaza are just as bad as Hamas.
3) Do they not bomb and not fight in the streets and agree to a ceasefire? If they agree to a ceasefire that gives Hamas time to rearm. Each time there is a ceasefire Hamas becomes stronger than before. That is because Iran keeps supplying Hamas with money and the latest weapons and because Hamas learns each time how to improve it's fighting skills against Israel. If Israel agrees to a ceasefire the next massacre of Israelis will probably be worse than the October 7, 2023 massacre.
If you were the prime minister of Israel which of the above choices would you choose?
During World War II the allies tried to force the Nazis to surrender by carpet bombing the city of Dresden in their fight with the Nazis. Less than a month before the Nazis had killed 19,000 U.S. troops at the battle of the Bulge and three weeks after the discovery of the grim atrocities committed by the Nazis at Aushwitz. The United States dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki to force Japan to surrender. If they hadn't many more American soldiers would have died. Many people in Europe and the United States condemn Israel when it bombs Gaza but Israel has not carpet bombed Gaza and it has not used nuclear bombs on Gaza. It has bombed terrorist strongholds in Gaza which are unfortunately located among civilians. It has tried to get the civilians to leave before the bombing. It has sent in its soldiers to fight door to door. Hamas killed Palestinian civilians who tried to leave because it wants to keep civilians around as a shield agianst Israel. Hamas knows that Israel does its best to avoid killing civilians. In order to enable civilians to flee despite Hamas, Israel opened up corridors with Israeli soldiers that shot at Hamas when it tried to shoot at civilians. Needless to say that is a very dangerous thing to do and Hamas shoots at the Israeli soldiers who risk their lives so that Palestinian civilians won't die. Fleur Hassan-Nahoum, the deputy mayor of Jerusalem talks about this in the video below. I cut out her descriptions of what Hamas did because it is so gruesome. There is a video that the IDF put together about what Hamas did that Andrea Mitchell the woman interviewing Fleur Hassan-Nahoum saw before the interview.
No other country has made more of an effort to protect the civilians of its enemies than Israel. Despite this, much of the media says whatever Hamas wants them to say about Israel. Hamas will show them videos of an injured child and tell the media that the Israelis injured the child by bombing him and the media shows the video all over the world. Hamas claims that Israel killed 6000 Palestinian children and many in the media repeat that as if it's true. The media trusts a terrorist organization to tell the truth. Often when images of injured children are posted by the Palestinians and blamed on Israel, investigations find that the children were killed by Muslims fighting other Muslims. One example of this was a picture posted by Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of many dead children, each wrapped in white, lying on the floor, and captioned "CHILD GENOCIDE IN PALESTINE" and "614 Palestinian children murdered by the Israeli IDF Forces." Except they weren’t. The image was indeed of children who had been killed, but not by the Israel Defense Forces. They were killed in a 2013 sarin nerve gas attack perpetrated by Bashar al-Assad, the Muslim dictator of Syria. Another example of the media trusting Hamas was news reports that Israel had bombed the Al Ahli hospital in Gaza. It turns out that the parking lot was bombed and not the hospital and it also turns out that it wasn't Israel who did it. It was Islamic Jihad whose rocket that they shot at Israel that blew up in the parking lot. Joe Concha spoke about this at Restoration Weekend. You can see him talk about it below.

Islamic Jihad another terrorist organization claimed that a hostage died of medical complications and later she was returned to Israel alive in a hostage swap. Hamas claims that the child shown at the beginning of this web page, Kfir Babas, along with his mother and 4 year old brother were killed in an Israeli air strike. If that's true whose fault is it that Kfir was killed?
The fact that Hamas lies about Palestinian children being killed doesn't mean that Palestinian children aren't killed, Israel is faced with the impossible situation of fight back and risk killing Palestinian children and Israeli child hostages, because Hamas is using them as human shields, or don't fight back with the result that Hamas will kill more Israeli children.
One thing people don't realize is that many of the Palestinian civilians are just as bad as Hamas. Many celebrated the massacres of October 7, 2023. In fact many participated in the attacks on Israeli civilians.
There are many videos of what Hamas terrorists did in Gaza the majority of them are too terrible to show here. Instead I've included a video about some of the children who Hamas killed to make clear why Hamas has to be stopped. As long as Hamas exists it will continue to attack Jewish children. The Re'im party is mentioned in the video. That was the location of a music festival where people were dancing to music when Gaza terrorists came across them and gunned them down.
Countries around the world are demanding Israel stop fighting Hamas. Israel is under a lot of pressure to make concessions to Hamas in order to get its hostages back. Mosab Hassan Yousef is the son of a Hamas leader who left Hamas and joined Israel's side. He is known as Son of Hamas. He warned that if Hamas is not defeated in Gaza it will inspire many groups around the globe. They will see that few thousands of savages can blackmail the international community, the superpowers and bring democracies to their knees. He said "This is the time to get united because if Israel fails in Gaza all of us will be next." The massive widespread protests against Israel throughout the world show that the anti-Israel groups are very large and powerful and they are living in our cities. They are here. Hamas is here. They can commit terrorism here, they can take hostages here and they will especially if Hamas gets away with terrorism against Israel.
