16.11 Operation Al Aqsa Flood
The second Jewish Temple was destroyed in 70 AD by the Romans. It was located on the Temple Mount. Since then the Muslims built a shrine and a mosque on the Temple Mount. The shrine is called the Dome of the Rock.
The Dome of the Rock has a gold dome and was built on top of the remains of the second temple. The mosque was called Al Aqsa. It has a lead dome and is located inside of a wall surrounding the Temple Mount. Recently the Muslims have started calling the entire temple mount Al Aqsa.
Jews regained control of Jerusalem in the 6 Day War of 1967. The defense minister of Israel, Moshe Dayan, forbade Jews to pray on the Temple Mount fearing it would antagonize the Muslims. Some Jewish Rabbis also forbade Jews to pray on the Temple mount for the same reason. Jews are allowed to visit there but not pray there. The Muslims are antagonized anyway because a Jewish presence on what they consider to be their holy site is to them a desecration and contamination of their holy site by impure Jews. Shimon Riklis, a tour guide for Jewish groups to the Temple Mount, told Channel 10, in a heated debate with Rabbi Halbertal, “We’re not doing this in order to provoke the gentiles. Halbertal isn’t a Zionist. I am! We’ve returned to the Land of Israel, we’ve founded a country, we know exactly where the Temple is located.” He went on, “This is about the basic rights of human beings. I should be allowed to murmur (pray quietly).” There are many Jews who agree with Shimon Riklis. Yehuda Glick an Israeli-American gave a speech saying that the Jews should reclaim the site and as a result was shot 4 times by a Muslim Palestinian. Ariel Sharon toured the site in 2000 and that was used as an excuse for the second Intifada. If Jews try and pray there they are chased away by the Muslim Waqf.
According to Israeli intelligence, Muslims stored weapons in the mosque with the intention of attacking Israeli security personnel and Israeli civilians. Israeli police entered the Mosque to remove those weapons and were attacked by the Muslims inside it. Confrontation with the Israeli police, is the excuse given for the October 2023 attacks by Hamas on Israel. That is the reason those attacks are called Operation Al Aqsa Storm. If Israeli police hadn't gone into the mosque to remove the weapons stockpiled there, the Palestinians would have attacked civilian Jews with those weapons, which would have been a lot worse than Muslims attacking armed Israeli police who could defend themselves.
On October 7, 2023 Hamas fired thousands of rockets against Israel. They sent terrorists paragliding into Israel and also bulldozed a hole through the Israeli security fence through which terrorists on motorcycles entered Israel. They encountered young people dancing at a peace festival took some of them hostage and shot the rest. They invaded Israeli towns shooting families and taking many hostages back into Gaza. They are using some of those hostages as human shields. It is likely they will try and trade some of those hostages for money and for prisoners in Israeli jails. Hamas posted a lot of gruesome videos of what they did. I will not show those videos but I have included a video below of Hamas paragliding into Israel.
Just a month before, on September 11, the Biden administration announced that it had made a hostage swap with Iran which included the release of 6 billion dollars to Iran. The Biden administration probably thought that giving 6 billion dollars to Iran would create good will. Iran controls Hamas. Clearly giving the 6 billion dollars to Iran was a huge mistake. This may have played a role in encouraging Hamas to invade and take hostages. The Biden administration has given a lot of money to the Palestinian Arabs in addition to the 6 billion it gave to Iran but clearly that did not create a desire for peace among either the Palestinians or the Iranians. You can see how the Iranian government feels by watching members of the Iranian parliament in the video below chant "Marje Esrael" (Death to Israel) and also chant that the Palestinians will be victorious. They also chanted "Death to America" but that is not shown in the video below.

Why do the Muslims in Gaza hate Israel so much?
Muslim propagandists want the West to believe that Palestinians are oppressed
under a system of Israeli apartheid. There is a lesson on why the
apartheid accusation is slanderous nonsense here. There some people who
think the conflict is about territory but Israel gave up Gaza to Hamas hoping
that would lead to peace. It didn't lead to peace because the root of the
conflict is not territory. It's a religious conflict rooted in antisemitism
inculcated into Muslims by their religion. It's
because of Islam and greed that Muslims want to seize Israeli territory.
Islam doesn't just want to seize Israeli territory. Senior Hamas official
Mahmoud Al-Zahar said in
2022 that “we are not talking about liberating our land alone… the entire
510 million square kilometers of Planet Earth will come under [a system] where
there is no injustice, no oppression, no treachery, no Zionism, no treacherous
Christianity.” Seizing Israel is just another stage toward seizing all 510
million kilometers.
There were Muslim demonstrations in
Sydney Australia,
London,
Colorado and
New York celebrating
operation al Aqsa. In the video below a happy American Muslim shows off
a picture of the bodies of Israeli civilians massacred by Hamas Islamic
terrorists and laughs with pride and joy.
According to the Israeli ambassador to Colombia, Gali
Dagan, the couple in the picture below, Adar and Itay Berdychivsky, heard a
commotion at their front door and hid their sons in a bomb shelter before the
Hamas members entered the home. Adar and Itay, who were both army officers, then
proceeded to try to fight off the gunmen, reportedly killing seven of them
before being shot and killed themselves.
Oleh Vyshniakov, Israel’s consul in Ukraine’s Western Region, shared the twins’
story on his Facebook page.
“They’re safe now, they’re surrounded by love and care,” he wrote.
“Itay’s brother and Adar’s father, who fought the militants for hours and saved
dozens of people — couldn’t reach their own relatives in time, found them.”

Hamas retreated when the Israel Defense Forces came after them but left behind
explosive
booby traps including a pink backpack with a bomb in it. Leaving
explosive toys and backpacks to blow up children did not start with operation Al
Aqsa, I remember 44 years ago when I was in Israel Muslim terrorists did that
then. If you saw a toy or backpack in a park you had to worry that it
might explode.
India said it stood with Israel but there were many Muslims in India who
congratulated Hamas including one who
tweeted "O mujahids of Palestine, the tales of your bravery are world famous
now.” At the Sydney Opera House demonstrators
chanted "Gas the
Jews".
A carload of Muslims
drove around Melbourne looking for Jews to kill. Muslim migrants
trampled an Israeli flag, brandished knives and attacked people in
Athens, Greece.
Muslim propaganda and leftist hate of the West has led to support among non-Muslims for operation Al Aqsa. A coalition of 34 student groups
(some but not all Muslim) at Harvard
signed a letter blaming Israel for the gruesome attacks by Hamas.
Students for Justice in Palestine called on all its chapters to join a “mass
mobilization’’ on Thursday October 12 to mark the “historic win for Palestinian
Resistance.’’ The black, non-binary NYU law student president, Ryna Workman
said Israel bore full responsiblity for the Hamas attack.

posted support of Hamas
on social media and called For Hamas-Style decolonization of America. The
Democratic Socialists of America
wrote: "We call on all those who share our vision of global working-class
emancipation to join the fight to end the occupation and decolonize
Palestine—from the river to the sea.” (that means Jews should be removed from
all of Israel). The
Canadian Broadcasting Service told their reporters not to use the word "terrorist"
when referring to Hamas.
This was not enough for Hamas leader Khalid Mashal who called for a global day
of Jihad on Friday the 13th of October. This led to terrorist supporters
attacking police in Nottingham, England,
stabbings and pro-Hamas rallies on American college campuses such as the
University of
Washington, the
University of North Carolina,
University of California at Los Angeles, and
Arizona State University. There have been large
pro-Hamas demonstrations in many
cities
around the world. One frightening demonstration was in
Brooklyn, New York. The New York Post in an article titled
Thousands of NYC Protesters Demand Eradication of Israel wrote that:
Thousands of anti-Israel protesters clashed with police Saturday night after
they refused to vacate the Bay Ridge street they had flooded for hours. The
“Flood Brooklyn for Palestine” demonstration descended into chaos as night fell,
with protesters completely shutting down traffic, screaming at police and
lighting small fires in the middle of the roadways...In one Manhattan
demonstration... angry Palestinian supporters displayed
swastikas and burned an Israeli flag. On Friday, 139 pro-Palestinian
protesters attending a demonstration organized by the Democratic Socialists of
America were
arrested for blocking traffic in Manhattan.
