4.13 What about the Dying Walruses and Polar Bears?
Doesn't that Prove Global Warming?
There was a documentary on Netflix narrated by David Attenborough, about how global warming is causing walruses to fall off cliffs. According to the documentary the ice the walruses used to float on is gone because it melted so they have to gather along cliffs and then they fall off. Here is a picture of the walruses at the top of the cliff.
Another documentary, To the Artic, teaches us that global warming is killing off the polar bears by melting the ice they live on. Here is a picture of a mother bear and her cubs floating on a broken piece of ice.
This picture of polar bears stranded on a small piece of ice because of global warming is alarming until you realize that polar bears can swim and generally there are a lot of other bigger pieces of ice nearby one of which the photographer is probably standing on.

Before we get all worked up about how global warming forces walruses off of cliffs we need to ask ourselves if walruses gathering on the top of cliffs are a new phenomenon.. Before we get all worked up about how global warming is killing off the polar bears we need to ask ourselves if the Artic is really melting and if there are fewer polar bears now than there were before. Dr. Susan Crockford asked the question about the polar bears. She found out that the population of polar bears was growing. Shortly after that remarkable discovery she was without a job. Global warming alarmists are very intolerant toward people who show they are wrong. Speak the truth and you can lose your job. Dr.Crockford talks about walruses and polar bears in the video below.
