People when they are surrounded by people who all say that something is true, are likely to become convinced it's true as well especially if they were told it was true since childhood. The radical left in America, Europe and Australia has been very successful in taking over schools, colleges, universities, much of social media, much of the government, much of the cable news networks and many newspapers. They use their control to convince people to believe what they want them to believe. They punish people who disagree with them so that few dare challenge the beliefs they want people to believe.

What's wrong with equity, didn't the founders of the United States write in the Declaration of Independence that "All men are created equal". Shouldn't everyone have equality of opportunity? Equality of opportunity and equity are not the same thing. With equality of opportunity some people will work harder than others and so some people will earn more money than others. Once that happens there is no equity any longer. In order to achieve equity one has to give less opportunity to those who work hard and contribute a lot to society and more opportunity to those who work less and contribute less. It means taking away more money from those who work hard than those who work less.
When I was a child there was a popular song by a musical group called Pink Floyd called Another Brick in the Wall. Two lines of that song were
We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control
When I was a child I thought that was a ridiculous song. My school wasn't trying to push any beliefs on me they just wanted me to know how to write, how to do arithmetic and to know some history. That has changed. Many schools indoctrinate their students. The song is no longer ridiculous. Here is an excerpt of a music video of that song.
At the end of the video the kids rise up and burn down their school. In real life kids who are indoctrinated by the media and by their schools to believe that America is a racist country grow up and riot and burn stores when a black man dies at the hands of a bad policeman who is restraining him. You can see a picture of a liquor store being burnt in one such riot that occurred in Minneapolis below. The store owner had nothing to do with it, burning his store does not get back at the policeman, but people who grow up believing that America is racist believe that the store owner is part of racist America and so his store should be burned.
When children come home and go online to social media they only see what social media allows them to see. Google, Twitter and Facebook and other media have a history of censoring information. In some cases the American government pressures social media to censor information. For example before the 2020 election the FBI pressured Facebook and Twitter not to allow posts of an expose by the New York Post of the corruption of the Biden family. Many Americans believe that Joe Biden would not have been elected president if that story hadn't been censored.
The government also passes laws that control what people say. A law in New York City fines a landlord or employer or employee of a facility for the public who intentionally and repeatedly refuses to use an individual's preferred pronoun with fines that could reach as high as $250,000 for multiple violations. Trade organizations control what their members can say. For example doctors in America are afraid of losing their license, nearly every medical accrediting organization has adopted affirmative care -- which means that the doctors job is to affirm or rubber-stamp the patient's self-diagnosis, even of minors when they decide that their problem is gender and they should take hormones and surgery. Supposing you have a job and a friend of yours who has the same job has been persuaded by social media that he is a she. Supposing your friend went to a doctor who prescribes for him puberty blockers and hormones and has scheduled surgery for tomorrow. You argue with your friend and warn him how social media brainwashed him and that you've known him all your life and that he is a boy. You refuse to refer to him as she or her because you don't want to encourage his self destructive delusions. A government web page states:
Being misgendered (i.e., being referred to with incorrect pronouns) can be an extremely hurtful and invalidating experience. Intentional refusal to use someone’s correct pronouns is equivalent to harassment and a violation of one’s civil rights... “intentionally and repeatedly using the wrong name and pronouns to refer to a transgender employee could contribute to an unlawful hostile work environment” and is a violation of Title VII.
Title VII is a section of the civil rights act of 1964. You could be fined a lot of money for violating Title VII. The result of all of this is indoctrination because no one dares to speak the truth.
People go to therapy to get help with their problems. Sometimes therapists brainwash their patients. You can read a story about how therapists brainwash people here. In that story the daughter left her parents because during therapy she became convinced by her therapist that they were bad people who had abused her. Therapists sometimes convince people they are girls in a boys body and vice versa.
What if a radical leftist became governor in your state and you have evidence that he was elected because of election fraud ? Your new radical leftist governor and his supporters won't want anyone to say there was election fraud. What if you try and sue? Attorneys or judges don't dare to get involved (in exposing voter fraud and fixing laws) since they’re likely to get disbarred because the left has so much control over state bars. Many people who protested election fraud in the election of President Joe Biden on January 6 2021 are still in jail.
In addition there are a lot of people on social media like Teen Talk and Tumblr who spread propaganda. Some actively work to persuade people to transition to the opposite sex. One person they persuaded was Helena Kirshner. You can listen to her talk about it by clicking here.
China uses social influencers to push propaganda on Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook and Youtube. That propaganda demonizes the United States and the Taiwanese government, and whitewashes the bad things that China does among other things. At least 200 influencers with connections to the Chinese government or its state media are operating in 38 different languages. China puts in Facebook ads to draw people to these influencers' accounts. The Associated Press The AP identified dozens of these accounts, which collectively have amassed more than 10 million followers and subscribers. Vica Li is the face of one of their propaganda campaigns. You'd never guess that behind the videos of pretty and innocent looking influencer Vica Li are Chinese propagandists.
Cable news and newspapers are supposed to objectively report the news. You can watch an employee of CNN below saying how they made up stories about Trump colluding with the Russians to get good ratings. They also did it because they didn't want people to vote for Trump. Many people get their news from cable and believe what they watch.
What if you are worried about Muslim terrorists and think America should take special precautions when screening Muslims coming to the country? That's a valid thing to worry about. Muslim terrorists flew airplanes into buildings on September 11, 2001. Islamic terrorists as of February 4, 2023 have committed over 42,838 terrorist attacks since 9/11. Surprised? Didn't know that? That's because everyone is afraid to speak up and tell you what is going on. If you speak up you can become a target of Muslims and leftists and and accused of "Islamophobia". You'll be lucky if you are just labeled a racist Islamophobe. There is a fatwa against Pamela Geller a courageous woman who has spoken out against Islamic terror and Salman Rushdie an author who wrote a book that antagonized Muslims. In fact Salman Rushdie was attacked by a Muslim with a knife. Robert Spencer runs a site called Jihadwatch in which he reports on the latest violence by Muslims. He always has been a target of Muslims but recently he has become a target of the entire country of Pakistan. Most people who agree with Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer are afraid to say so. That makes it harder to defend against the Muslim terrorist threat.
The best way to help someone who is being brainwashed by social media and cable etc. is to get them away from the constant indoctrination for a while and then give them another perspective.
